Talia flew on a plane last Friday! Mommy and Tally flew back to central Pennsylvania over the weekend to visit Nana, Poppy, Meme, Great Grandma & Grandpa Phillips, Aunt Kathy & Uncle Mike, and cousins Alex, Sierra, and Sadie.
Talia was a fantastic traveler. She LOVED the airports (there were so many people to play peek-a-boo with and so many planes and suitcase trams to squeal at). She LOVED the airplane rides (who wouldn't enjoy pounding their hands on the seat-back tray, yelling out the window, and playing peek-a-boo with the stewardess down the aisle). She did not seem to enjoy the first landing, however, in Detroit. Mommy exiting the first plane wearing jeans soaked with vomit - yes, Tally seemed to encounter a case of motion sickness upon landing. Moments after Mommy was astonished by the projectile vomiting all over the back of the seats in front of her, Tally was smiling ear to ear, talking to neighboring flyers. Thankfully, ther were no repeat episodes for the remainder of the trip.
Tally enjoyed visiting with family. Her curiosity peaked at Poppy's beard, she entertained everyone at her big-girl seat at the table, LOVED splashing and playing in the faucet stream in the kitchen sink, and thought her cousins were GREAT!
Unfortunately, all of the bonding time with Mommy left Tally with a bit of Mommy-itis. She screams when Mommy leaves the room, when she hears Mommy's voice from another room, and jumps from anyone else's arms toward Mommy. Sweet, but not a trend I wish to continue...
