It's Almost April?

Really? You wouldn't know it from these pictures taken this afternoon. It's been in the single digits the past few nights, we're still wearing snow boots and winter wear, and Talia is still "buv-ling nooooo"!

Hands-On Museum

We were suppose to be in Louisiana this weekend visiting friends. It didn't work out...... so we had to find something fun to replace it! We decided to book a hotel on Friday night and drove to Ann Arbor for some excitement. Uncle Ben met us on Saturday morning at the Hands-On Museum and we spent hours in the preschool room. See for yourself how much fun we had!

Beads, Leprechauns, and March Madness!

There was a lot to celebrate this past week or so! Talia's been enjoying the fun of Mardi Gras with a huge bowl of "neckaces" to play with. She has mastered putting them on (herself, Daddy, Mommy) but can't quite get them off when there are ~30 around her neck.

Mommy thought we wouldn't have the occasion to pull out the Penn State bibs until the Blue-White game in April, but the basketball team gave us a reason to be fair-weather fans this past week....

And finally, Talia enjoyed dressing up for Saint Patrick's Day..... in the exact same outfit she wore last year. The preschool room was searching for leprechauns on Thursday, so when Talia arrived, she was warned that she might get caught!

Talia has officially become a ham this weekend, now posing for the camera on command with a "Cheese".....

Talia Up-Eye-Down?

We visited the newest member of the Midland playdate clan - Miss Madelynn Elisabeth Callender - at the hospital on Saturday evening. Somehow, we have no pictures of the new baby...... but we do have a few shots of Talia and Caden showing off their tricks (and even a goodbye hug at the end of the night)!

Bubby Dada

Every evening, Talia enjoys a bath. Bathtime has become a special time for Daddy and Talia and has officially been named "Bubby Dada", or at least this is what Talia calls it.

Take a peek at what entails as Bubby Dada comes to an end each evening. This is just one reason Talia already knows ~80% of her alphabet and a few numbers.

In Her Mommy's Clothes

It's no secret that Nana saved many items over the years. Talia has had the opportunity to enjoy Mommy's toys, stuffed animals, and especially Mommy's clothes. Nana had the great idea of taking some photos of Talia in Mommy's clothes and even sent a picture of Mommy around the same age! Here's the first, in perhaps a series, of picture comparisons!
