Talia - 15 Month Checkup

Talia had her 15-month checkup this week with the pediatrician.
Here are her stats:
Weight: 20 lbs (25th percentile)
Height: 29 3/8 inches (20th percentile)

Talia continues to develop perfectly. She is doing all things expected of a 15-month old and more. She checked out perfectly and was sent home with a prescription for a daily vitamin / fluoride supplement. She is so funny to watch during her appointment because she is so inquisitive while Dr. Juarbe checks her. She watches his every move (doesn't fuss) and even looks at him afterwards, almost as if to ask "well, did it look okay"? She was poked 3 times, one of which was her flu/H1N1 vaccine. There were definitely tears, but they cleared within a minute!

Big Balloons!

This weekend was the annual hot air balloon festival in Midland. Mommy saw a bunch of them on her run this morning, so we quickly packed up T and cruised down the road in search of the balloons. Yay - we found some!

Pigtails and Random Shots

Pigtails seemed so fitting for my flower child the other morning.

Talia enjoying her new-found freedom in the tubby. She's quickly learning how important it is to stay sitting.....

Our new favorite playground - right at the end of our street and always empty!

Okay ma-ma, I'm ready for school.

Aspiring to Aspirate Herself...

Perhaps the cutest video ever. Poor Miss T's allergies got the best of her in Pennsylvania. She was faced with breathing treatments and aspirators all weekend. She has gotten to the age where she MUST do everything on her own now. See for yourself.

Trip to Pennsylvania!

Talia has had a very busy few weeks. The non-stop action certainly continued this past weekend as she ventured on her second airplane ride back to central Pennsylvania. The long holiday weekend was spent visiting lots of family and friends!

During the trip home, Mommy and Daddy atttended the beautiful wedding of Mommy's childhood friend, Monica. The wedding celebration lasted all weekend and was complete with fantastic food, drink, dance, fireworks, helicopter landings, confetti, and Mommy singing! Oh, did I mention that Mommy wore traditional Indian garb for the Sunday night reception?

Talia wrapped up her trip with a visit to Aunt Ann and Uncle Dan's to spend time with Grandma, Pappy, and most importantly - her one-year old cousin Madelyn!

The birthday girl(s) - Madelyn was born on her Mom's birthday too!

Maddy had a perfect celebration complete with toys, cute clothes, and CAKE of course! We're so happy we could be there to celebrate with her.
