On Saturday, we took Talia to see butterflies at Dow Gardens. She thoroughly enjoyed watching the little creatures fly all around her. She's quite an observant little girl, and would notice each one out of the corner of her eye and then watch it flutter away.
We were hoping she would have a close encounter (they often land on fingers), giving us a great photo-op. Instead, one attached to Daddy - and seemed to really enjoy the ride....
We stayed for about a half and hour and then walked through the gardens since it was such a nice afternoon. Although it was sad to say goodbye to the annual Butterflies and Bloom exhibit, we got to take our very own little butterfly home with us:)

Yes, the biggest butterfly is the prettiest. Mike , did that butterfly know what he was getting in for...haha
