Talia is really a treat at 18 months. She is incredibly loving and continues to give "no-gisses" to her dolls, Elmo, Mommy, Daddy, and anyone else who's in the room. She'll also give out hugs on occasion, and if you get one - just ask for "more" to lengthen her sweet moment with multiple hugs. She has learned to throw temper tantrums though, and is so stubborn that they've been known to last an hour in length.
Talia's vocabulary is quite large already (~100 words). She has started to put words together like "Up, mama", "Tank-you, mama" and "Chair, peez". She has reached the imitation phase, and will attempt to say anything you ask. For instance, today she continued to say "pumpernickel" for five minutes after being asked. She continues to love books and will often surprise you by finding the smallest detail on a page and telling you what she sees. When she sees a few of something, she wants to count, and will get all the way to eight if she's in the mood.
