Our first stop was Nana & Poppy's house. We spent the afternoon together and then lots of friends and family came over for dinner. Talia had a blast playing with her cousins and Caden. Unfortunately, we were so busy visiting that we forgot to take the camera out of our bag. Hence - one lone picture....
When we woke up Saturday, we drove over the mountain to Happy Valley to visit with the Tripps and Grandma & Grandpa. For the third year in a row, Talia got her picture with the lion!
Talia enjoyed her very first Arts Fest in State College. Her favorite parts were the live music in front of Old Main and the Spray Park on Allen Street. She stood and watched the big kids run through the spray park for at least 10 minutes on a few occasions. The park was one where large buckets fill with water and periodically dump...... not necessarily one for a novice. She watched and watched (perhaps timing the dumps?) and then decided she was up for the challenge. She captured quite the crowd of fans as she ran back and forth through the buckets, the only 2-year old in the mix:)

Those girls are so sweet together. Next year, lets do it again and have Nana and poppy come down for the arts festival too! Talia can work her magic again in the water.
A funfilled weekend was had by all. How about that confidence at the splash park, wow. Love the pic of Talia and Maddy laughing on the ground. Sounds like a plan, Sandy :)
