Vacation Week Highlights - Days 1 thru 4

I think that we're teaching Talia that vacation = Dessert with dinner. Four nights in a row she's had some kind of dessert. The first one was a sugar cookie ice cream sandwich - it looked sublime! The second night offered proof that Talia likes all desserts - she scarfed green tea ice cream! The third night she shared a dessert called "Pave au Chocolaut" with me - we actually fought with our silverware over the last piece.  And then last night was just a simple popsicle after a day at the beach.

Talia's gotten to experience a wide variety of vacation activities so far, including our pool at the resort, a splash park, the beach (obviously), a children's museum (a day with crappy weather), biking, kayaking (including dolphin sightings), and even playing a little shuffleboard.

We're also re-learning that we need to make sure that T gets a nap - especially with a morning spent in the sun. She's turned into a crabby pants in the afternoon every day so far... Hopefully she takes a beach nap today!
