Word Recognition
Serious interest in books - recognition of pictures
Noticing stuffed animals across the room and snuggling them
Talking: She says "ma-ma" and "da-da" at the right times (sometimes)
Talia developed "Mommy-itis" during her 9th month. She will jump from others' arms toward Mommy, yell when Mommy leaves the room (or even moves to another part of the room), and her very favorite word is "ma-ma".
Talia is now incredibly strong and is becoming more mobile by the hour. There is no dictating how she is held - she will throw her head back if she doesn't like something, shift her weight towards another person if she'd rather be held by them, push off your chest to look at something behind her, etc. She starting CREEPING a few days ago - but so far only to get to Mommy. She'll string together 3-4 creeps to make up a ~3-ft distance - all for a hug.
Talia's appearance becomes more like that of a toddler all the time. Her hair is really growing and is quite thick! It's growing in around her face and appears "styled". We've dubbed her as having "Halle Berry" hair. We think she's the most beautiful girl - but we're certainly biased:)
Froggy chair shots (2 months, 5 months, 10 months below):

WOW TALIA! You are getting "SO BIG". Hope you continue to feel better and now grandma orders you to not get sick again!
We also think she is the most beautiful girl and we're not biased. Oh, wait, does grandparenthood count as biased?
Way to motor, Tally.
